Sudak is a town, multiple former Eastern Orthodox bishopric and double Latin Catholic titular see. Change things up with these side-trips from Sudak: Karadag Natural Reserve (in Kurortne), Koktebel (Golden Gate (Devil's Gate) & Dolphinarium Koktebel) and Golitsyn Path (in Novyi Svit). There's lots more to do: steep yourself in history at Sudak Fortress, ponder the design of Fountain of Love, take an in-depth tour of Museum of Free Flight, and learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Safari-park Taygan.

Kursk, Russia to Sudak is an approximately 12.5-hour car ride. You can also do a combination of flight and car. You'll gain 1 hour traveling from Kursk to Sudak due to the time zone difference. Cap off your sightseeing on the 13th (Thu) early enough to go by car to Yalta.

A popular resort town on the Crimea peninsula, Yalta reveals a striking Neo-Gothic châteaux nestled high atop a steep sea cliff.
Venture out of the city with trips to Koreiz (Cableway Mishor - Ai Petri & Yaltinskaya Cave), Grand Canyon (in Sokolyne) and Vorontsov Palace and Park complex (in Alupka). There's lots more to do: appreciate the extensive heritage of Lenin Embankment, admire the masterpieces at Massandra Palace, take in the awesome beauty at Ai-Petri, and get to know the resident critters at Skazka Zoo.

You can drive from Sudak to Yalta in 2.5 hours. Other options are to do a combination of car and bus; or do a combination of taxi and bus. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 17th (Mon) to allow time to drive to Sevastopol.
