Step off the beaten path and head to Matutu Brewery and Koteka Winery. Relax by the water at Black Rock Beach and Muri Lagoon. There's still lots to do: identify plant and animal life at Aroa Marine Reserve, cast your line with a fishing tour, take in the awesome beauty at Te Rua Manga (The Needle), and stroll through Titikaveka Beach.

Denver, USA to Avarua is an approximately 17.5-hour flight. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 3 hours traveling from Denver to Avarua. Atiu, also known as Enuamanu, is an island 187 km northeast of Rarotonga, in the Southern Islands group of the Cook Islands Archipelago.GeographyAtiu is a raised volcanic island surrounded by a reef from which rise 6m cliffs of fossilized coral (makatea). On the 22nd (Thu), Head underground at Anatakitaki Cave (Kopeka Cave).
