Escape the urban bustle at Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Scuba & Snorkeling. Spend the 31st (Tue) exploring nature at Bacalar Chico National Park and Marine Reserve. Montreal, Canada to San Pedro is an approximately 9-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and shuttle; or do a combination of flight and ferry. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Montreal to San Pedro. Plan for warmer temperatures traveling from Montreal in March, with highs in San Pedro at 34°C and lows at 26°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 31st (Tue) early enough to go by car to Caye Caulker.

At just under 8 km (5 mi) long and 1.6 km (1 mi) wide, the limestone coral island of Caye Caulker offers a small but perfectly formed getaway 32 km (20 mi) offshore from Belize City.
Start off your visit on the 1st (Wed): enjoy the sand and surf at The Split, then browse the exhibits of Red Flower Gallery, and then see the vivid underwater world at Shark Ray Alley. On your second day here, cast your line with a fishing tour, then relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas, and then see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

You can drive from San Pedro to Caye Caulker in an hour. In March, daily temperatures in Caye Caulker can reach 34°C, while at night they dip to 26°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 2nd (Thu) so you can travel to San Ignacio.

The cultural hub of the district, San Ignacio neatly blends tourism and tradition, expats and indigenous peoples into a convincingly authentic, but modern and welcoming inland town.
Get a sense of the local culture at Xunantunich Mayan Ruins and Cahal Pech Mayan Ruins & Museum. Visiting ATM Cave Belize- Actun Tunichil Muknal and Barton Creek Cave will get you outdoors. Take a break from San Ignacio with a short trip to Blue Hole National Park in Belmopan, about 46 minutes away. There's still lots to do: relax and rejuvenate at some of the top local wellness centers and take in the exciting artwork at Cappello's Art Gallery.

You can do a combination of ferry and bus from Caye Caulker to San Ignacio in 4 hours. Finish your sightseeing early on the 5th (Sun) to allow enough time to travel to Belize City.

Take a break from the city and head to Mesoamerican Reef (Belize Barrier Reef) and River Rafting & Tubing. Satisfy your inner culture vulture at Lamanai Archaeological Reserve and Altun Ha. Step out of Belize City with an excursion to The Belize Zoo in La Democracia--about 42 minutes away. There's lots more to do: center your mind and body at Yoga & Pilates, don't miss a visit to The Belize Sign Monument, stop by Caribbean Spice Belize, and examine the collection at Luba Garifuna Cultural Museum.

Traveling by combination of bus and flight from San Ignacio to Belize City takes 2 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or take a bus. Expect a daytime high around 36°C in April, and nighttime lows around 28°C. On the 9th (Thu), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
