You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Pola Museum of Art and The Railway Museum. Kencho-ji Temple and Sensō-ji will appeal to history buffs. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Tokyo: Kamakura (Hokokuji Temple (Takedera Temple) & Tsurugaoka Hachimangu Shrine) and Hikawa Shrine (in Omiya). There's still lots to do: take in the spiritual surroundings of Asakusa Shrine, take a stroll through Ueno, explore the world behind art at Nezu Museum, and steep yourself in history at Hie Jinjya.
