The time zone difference moving from Atlantic Standard Time (AST) to Japan Standard Time (JST) is 13 hours. When traveling from St. Croix in April, plan for little chillier days and colder nights in Tokyo: temperatures range from 22°C by day to 12°C at night. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Mon) early enough to catch the train to Kyoto.

You can take a train from Tokyo to Kyoto in 2.5 hours. Other options are to fly; or drive. In April, daytime highs in Kyoto are 22°C, while nighttime lows are 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 9th (Thu) early enough to take a train to Hiroshima.
