More than 20 million people call Cairo their home and, as soon as you set foot in the sprawling metropolis, it's evident they make it crowded and chaotic, but also exuberant and charming.
Your day-by-day itinerary now includes Mosque of Muhammad Ali, Zamalek (Gezira Island) and Egyptian Antiquities Museum. Pyramids of Giza and Coptic Cairo will appeal to history buffs. Do some cultural sightseeing at Saqqara (Sakkara) Pyramids and Great Sphinx. And it doesn't end there: walk around Al-Azhar Park, contemplate the waterfront views at Nile River, and contemplate the long history of Tomb of Shah of Iran.

Getting from Marrakech to Cairo by combination of bus and flight takes about 10 hours. Other options: do a combination of train and flight; or do a combination of shuttle and flight. The time zone difference moving from Western European Time (WET) to Eastern European Time (EET) is 2 hours. Traveling from Marrakech in February, expect a bit warmer with lows of 13°C in Cairo. Kick off your visit on the 10th (Mon): explore the world behind art at Tel Aviv Museum of Art, then take a leisurely stroll along Tayelet, then take a stroll through Jaffa Old City, and finally take a stroll through Neve Tzedek. Traveling by flight from Cairo to Tel Aviv takes 4.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus. When traveling from Cairo in February, plan for slightly colder days in Tel Aviv, with highs around 22°C, while nights are about the same with lows around 13°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 11th (Tue) early enough to drive to Jerusalem.
