Start off your visit on the 24th (Thu): cruise along Road to Heaven and then explore the world behind art at Kita no Alp Art Museum. Traveling from Hakodate in October, expect Hamamatsu to be somewhat warmer, temps between 24°C and 20°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 1st (Fri) early enough to go by car to Shimoda.
