Located in the southeast of Isla Isabela, Puerto Villamil is home to the majority of the island's 2,200 inhabitants.
Kick off your visit on the 2nd (Thu): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Iglesia Cristo Salvador and then get impressive views of Sierra Negra. Keep things going the next day: contemplate the waterfront views at Laguna de los Diablos, then glide peacefully along the water with some of the best stand-up paddleboarding in the area, then learn about wildlife with up-close encounters at Centro de Crianza Tortugas Gigantes Arnaldo Tupiza Chamaidan, and finally stroll through Posada de flamengos.
