Expect a bit warmer weather when traveling from San Francisco in July: highs in Yosemite National Park hover around 83°F, while lows dip to 46°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Wed) so you can travel to South Lake Tahoe.

Traveling by flight from South Lake Tahoe to Santa Monica takes 6 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of bus and train. Traveling from South Lake Tahoe in July, expect nights in Santa Monica to be somewhat warmer, around 65°F, while days are slightly colder, around 76°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 26th (Sun) to allow time to drive to San Diego.
