Take a break from Salzburg with a short trip to Hallstatt-Dachstein - Salzkammergut Cultural Landscape in Obertraun, about 1h 20 min away. Historic Center of Vienna and St. Stephen's Cathedral will appeal to history buffs. Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien and Belvedere Palace are good opportunities to explore the local culture.
