Phoenix is the capital and most populous city of the U.S. Shop till you drop at Old Town Scottsdale and Fountain Hills Artists' Gallery. Zelma Basha Salmeri Gallery and Wells Fargo Museum will appeal to museum buffs. Take a break from Phoenix with a short trip to Boyce Thompson Arboretum in Superior, about 1h 20 min away.
