Nantou provides good access to the cultural and natural sites of the surrounding county of the same name.

Kick off your visit on the 12th (Tue): pick up some local products at Jhongsing Rice Castle, delve into the lush surroundings at Ali Mountain (Alishan), and then stroll the grounds of Dongpubu Nongbuluo. On the next day, engage your brain at National Museum of Natural Science, admire the masterpieces at National Taiwan Museum of Fine Arts, and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Hehuan Mountain (Hehuanshan).

Singapore, Singapore to Nantou is an approximately 10.5-hour combination of flight and bus. Traveling from Singapore in November, expect Nantou to be a bit cooler, temps between 30°C and 20°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 13th (Wed) so you can travel to Magong.

Most visitors take a trip to Magong to see Penghu's iconic landmark, the famed Tianhou Gong Mazu temple, honoring the Chinese sea goddess and dating back to the 16th century.

Start off your visit on the 14th (Thu): kick back and relax at Lintou Golden Beach, kick back and relax at Shihli Beach Park, then explore the gorgeous colors at Qimei Longcheng, then enjoy the sand and surf at Local Beach, and finally make a trip to Cimeiyu.

Traveling by combination of flight and taxi from Nantou to Magong takes 4 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of taxi and ferry; or do a combination of bus and ferry. Finish your sightseeing early on the 14th (Thu) to allow enough time to travel to Taipei.

Situated in a basin between two mountain ranges, Taipei appeals to tourists with its blend of Asian cultures, living side by side amidst Japanese-era mansions and Taoist temples.

On the 15th (Fri), see the interesting displays at National Palace Museum and then browse the eclectic array of goods at Chiufen (Jiufen Old Street). On the 16th (Sat), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: take an in-depth tour of National Revolutionary Martyrs' Shrine, then pause for some photo ops at Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, then wander the streets of Ximending, and finally buy something for everyone on your list at Taipei 101.

You can do a combination of taxi and flight from Magong to Taipei in 2 hours. Other options are to do a combination of ferry and car; or do a combination of ferry and train. In November, plan for daily highs up to 29°C, and evening lows to 22°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 16th (Sat) so you can take a train to Hualien.

Nestled between the sea and the mountains, Hualien boasts a number of attractions, both natural and manmade.

On the 17th (Sun), hike along Shakadang Trail, kick back and relax at Chishingtan Scenic Area, and then admire the verdant scenery at Mukumugi Valley.

Traveling by train from Taipei to Hualien takes 3 hours. Alternatively, you can drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Finish your sightseeing early on the 17th (Sun) to allow enough time to drive to Taitung.

Sitting between the mountains and the sea, Taitung offers pleasing scenery no matter what direction you face.

Start off your visit on the 18th (Mon): walk around Taidong Forest Park, then head off the coast to Sanxiantai, and then get outside with East Coast National Scenic Area. On the 19th (Tue), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get engrossed in the history at National Museum of Prehistory and then take in the waterfront activity at Lvdaoshilang.

Traveling by car from Hualien to Taitung takes 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a train. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 19th (Tue) early enough to drive to Hengchun.

Located on the southern tip of the eponymous peninsula, Hengchun serves as the entry point to Kenting National Park, often attracting more travelers than locals with its tropical beach resorts and bustling night markets.

Start off your visit on the 20th (Wed): identify plant and animal life at Kenting National Park and then enjoy the sand and surf at Shadao Ecological Reserve. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: enjoy the sand and surf at Dawan Kenting Beach Park, then enjoy the sand and surf at White Sand Bay, and then observe the fascinating underwater world at National Museum of Marine Biology and Aquarium.

You can drive from Taitung to Hengchun in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of train and bus; or take a bus. In November, daily temperatures in Hengchun can reach 34°C, while at night they dip to 25°C. On the 22nd (Fri), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can travel back home.
