One of east Asia's major cultural and financial centers, Seoul boasts five World Heritage Sites and a huge selection of museums, temples, shrines, palaces, parks, gardens, and glass-and-steel skyscrapers.
Get outdoors at Cheonggyecheon Stream and Bukhansan National Park. Do your shopping at Myeongdong Shopping Street and Creative Life Store KEY. There's much more to do: browse the exhibits of Gyeongbokgung Palace, steep yourself in history at Baek In-je's House, enjoy breathtaking views from N Seoul Tower, and admire the landmark architecture of Changdeokgung Palace.

New Delhi, India to Seoul is an approximately 9.5-hour flight. You can also drive. Traveling from New Delhi to Seoul, you'll lose 3.5 hours due to the time zone difference. Traveling from New Delhi in July, things will get slightly colder in Seoul: highs are around °C and lows about °C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 27th (Mon) so you can drive to Chuncheon.

Chuncheon

The capital of the country's northernmost province, the city of Chuncheon acts a gateway to the wilder sights of the rural region.
Start off your visit on the 28th (Tue): pause for some photo ops at Monument for the Participation of Canada in the Korean War, head off the coast to Nami Island, and then get in on the family fun at Gangchon Rail Park. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take a stroll through Chuncheon Myeongdong Dakgalbi Street and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Cheongpyeongsa.

You can drive from Seoul to Chuncheon in 1.5 hours. Other options are to take a train; or take a subway. July in Chuncheon sees daily highs of °C and lows of °C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 29th (Wed) so you can drive to Andong.

Andong

Sitting along either side of the Nakdong River, Andong maintains an unrivalled reputation as a center for Korean folk and cultural heritage.
Start off your visit on the 30th (Thu): wander the streets of Andong Gunja Village (Historic Site of Ocheon) and then wander the streets of Andong Folk Village. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 31st (Fri): examine the collection at Hahoe Mask Museum and then appreciate the extensive heritage of Andong Hahoe Folk Village.

You can drive from Chuncheon to Andong in 2.5 hours. Alternatively, you can take a bus; or take a train. In July in Andong, expect temperatures between °C during the day and °C at night. Finish your sightseeing early on the 31st (Fri) to allow enough time to drive to Busan.

The country's second city, Busan has often been referred to as South Korea's summer capital.
On the 1st (Sat), kick back and relax at Gwangalli Beach, get outside with Haeundae Beach, and then take in the spiritual surroundings of Haedong Yonggung Temple. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: take a stroll through Gamcheon Culture Village, thenhunt for treasures at Jagalchi Market, and then stroll around Yongdusan Park.
