Fort William is the second largest settlement in the Highlands of Scotland with around 10,000 inhabitants – and the largest town: only the city of Inverness is larger.Fort William is a major tourist centre, with Glen Coe just to the south, Aonach Mòr to the east and Glenfinnan to the west, on the Road to the Isles. Popular historic sites such as Well of the Seven Heads and Saint Andrew's Church are in your itinerary. Take a break from the city and head to Signal Rock and An Torr and Fairy Forest. Change things up with a short trip to Morar Beach in Morar (about 1 hour away). The adventure continues: examine the collection at Treasures of the Earth, pause for some photo ops at Seated Sculpture, take an in-depth tour of Glencoe Folk Museum, and pause for some serene contemplation at MacIntosh Parish Church.
