On the 20th (Sun), take an in-depth tour of The Tenement House, admire the masterpieces at Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum, then examine the collection at The Riverside Museum of Transport and Travel, and finally learn about winemaking at Vino Valentino. On the next day, get a sense of history and politics at City Chambers, shop like a local with Buchanan Street, then contemplate the long history of Glasgow Cathedral, and finally explore the different monuments and memorials at The Necropolis.

Escape the urban bustle at Arthur's Seat and Bamburgh Beach. Deepen your sense of the past at sights like Edinburgh Castle and Church of Saint Aidan Bamburgh. Change things up with a short trip to Andy Howeys Birds of Prey Centre in Berwick upon Tweed (about 1h 20 min away). There's still lots to do: examine the collection at Royal Yacht Britannia, sample the fine beverages at The Scotch Whisky Experience, look for all kinds of wild species at Dalhousie Castle Falconry, and take a stroll through St Andrew Square.
