The smallest of Australia’s state capitals, Darwin has nevertheless become an attractive and important urban center, being simultaneously one of the country’s most modernized cities and a gateway to both the Top End region and South East Asia.
Start off your visit on the 17th (Fri): examine the collection at Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory and then pause for some serene contemplation at St Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Cathedral. On the next day, examine the collection at Defence of Darwin Experience, then get a dose of the wild on a nature and wildlife tour, and then take an unforgettable tour with a helicopter tour.

On the 20th (Mon), explore the striking landscape of Emily Gap and then get the lay of the land with Walking tours.
