Big Apple

Writer Pearl Buck once called New York City “a place apart,” and this giant urban center remains unlike any other in the world.
Get a sense of the local culture at Lenz Winery and Mattebella Vineyards. Explore hidden gems such as Chrysler Building and The Old Field Vineyards. Venture out of the city with trips to Sherwood House Vineyards - Jamesport Tasting House (in Jamesport) and Bedell Cellars (in Cutchogue). And it doesn't end there: browse the eclectic array of goods at Chelsea Market, see the interesting displays at New York Public Library, admire the masterpieces at Frick Collection, and pause for some serene contemplation at St. Patrick's Cathedral.

City of the Kings

Founded in 1535 by Spanish explorer Francisco Pizarro, Lima represents an interesting blend of modern attractions and preserved colonial architecture, much of it clustered in the World Heritage-listed city center.
You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Cathedral of Lima and El Silencio. Barranco and Museo Larco are good opportunities to explore the local culture. When in Lima, make a side trip to see El Canon de Austisha in Huarochiri, approximately Huarochiri away. There's much more to do: stroll through Playa Costa Verde, don't miss a visit to Plaza de Armas (Plaza Mayor), wander the streets of Miraflores, and get to know the fascinating history of Centro Historico de Lima.
