Greenport

Nestled on the north fork of Long Island within a pastoral landscape of farms and vineyards, Greenport is a historic village best known for its waterfront walkway with a 36-horse vintage carousel as its centerpiece.
Kick off your visit on the 14th (Mon): experience rural life at The East End Mushroom Company, meet the residents at Long Island Aquarium, and then indulge your senses at some of the top wineries in the area. Montauk is a census-designated place (CDP) that includes the hamlet with the same name located in the town of East Hampton in Suffolk County, New York, on the eastern end of the South Shore of Long Island. On the 16th (Wed), cast your line with a fishing tour and then don't miss a visit to Gosman's Restaurant. On the next day, immerse yourself in nature at Hither Hills State Park, enjoy the sea views from Montauk Point Lighthouse, and then admire the majestic nature at Montauk Point State Park.
