Singapore, Singapore to Fukuoka is an approximately 9-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or do a combination of flight, taxi, and train. The time zone changes from Singapore Time (SGT) to Japan Standard Time (JST), which is usually a 1 hour difference. In March, Fukuoka is cooler than Singapore - with highs of 17°C and lows of 7°C. You'll have a few hours on the 29th (Fri) to wrap things up before traveling to Kagoshima.

Kagoshima sits across the bay from Sakurajima, an active volcano that serves as a symbol of the city and works its way into many aspects of life here.
Kick off your visit on the 29th (Fri): admire the masterpieces at Nagashima Museum and then test the waters at a local thermal spa. On the next day, look for gifts at Yumeria, take in the spiritual surroundings of Nanshu Shrine, then admire the natural beauty at Kagoshima Kenritsu Yoshino Park, then contemplate the waterfront views at Sekiyoshi Sluice Gate of Yoshino Leat, and finally contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Hanao Shrine.

Getting from Fukuoka to Kagoshima by train takes about 2 hours. Other options: do a combination of flight, taxi, and train; or drive. In March, plan for daily highs up to 17°C, and evening lows to 5°C. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 31st (Sun) so you can catch the ferry to Ibusuki.

Start off your visit on the 31st (Sun): take in the spiritual surroundings of Arahira Tenzin Shrine, head outdoors with Ogawano Taki Falls, and then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Suwa Shrine. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: look for gifts at Michi-no-Eki Iokaido, then explore the activities along Fushime Coast, and then examine the collection at Satsuma Denshokan.

You can ride a ferry from Kagoshima to Ibusuki in an hour. Other options are to drive; or take a bus. Plan for a bit warmer nights when traveling from Kagoshima in March since evenings lows in Ibusuki dip to 11°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 2nd (Tue) to allow enough time to travel to Kurume.

Admire the temples and shrines of Kurume, a small, compact town situated on the Chikushi Plain, known for its local products, such as an indigo woven fabric, bamboo lacquerware, and pork ramen.
Kick off your visit on the 3rd (Wed): examine the collection at Kurumegasurishiryokan, take in the spiritual surroundings of Nyoirinji Temple, then take an in-depth tour of Chikuzenmachi Tachiarai Peace Memorial Museum, then look for gifts at Koibotaru Bussankan, and finally contemplate the long history of Miyanohara-ko Historic Site. Here are some ideas for day two: pause for some serene contemplation at Catholic Imamura Church, make a trip to Asai's Cherry Blossom Tree, and then take your sightseeing to a higher altitude at Minorenzan.

You can drive from Ibusuki to Kurume in 4.5 hours. In April, plan for daily highs up to 20°C, and evening lows to 19°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 4th (Thu) early enough to travel to Yufu.

Getting from Kurume to Yufu by car takes about 2 hours. Traveling from Kurume in April, Yufu is slightly colder at night with lows of 13°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 6th (Sat) early enough to go by car to Fukuoka.
