Ashtarak, is a town in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia, located on the left bank of Kasagh River along the gorge, northwest of the capital Yerevan. Get some historical perspective at Echmiadzin Monastery and Hovhannavank Monastery. You'll explore and learn at Sardarapat Memorial and Echmiadzin Historical & Ethnographic Museum.
