Known as one of the greatest small cities in the world, Amsterdam charms visitors with its cool and cozy atmosphere.
Museum-lovers will appreciate Van Gogh Museum and Anne Frank House. Discover out-of-the-way places like Zaanse Schans and Emperor's Canal (Keizersgracht). Step out of Amsterdam to go to Zandvoort and see Zandvoort aan Zee, which is approximately 48 minutes away. There's still lots to do: explore the world behind art at Museum Het Rembrandthuis (Rembrandt House), take an in-depth tour of Verzetsmuseum Amsterdam, contemplate the long history of Defence Line of Amsterdam, and stroll around Vondelpark.
