A modern city and a major transport hub facing Seto Inland Sea, Takamatsu offers a bustling city lifestyle contrasted with carefully manicured, tranquil green areas at the foot of the mountains and the lava plateau.
Visiting Yashima and Mt. Ojigadake will get you outdoors. Your cultural itinerary includes sights like Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter and Japanese Rural Toy Museum. Explore Takamatsu's surroundings by going to Naoshima (in Naoshima-cho) and Mt. Washu (in Kurashiki). There's still lots to do: go for a walk through Ritsurin Garden, look for gifts at Kagawa Bussankan Ritsurinan, and take an in-depth tour of Shikoku Mura Village.
