The commercial center of eastern Paraguay, busy Ciudad Del Este serves primarily as a shopping destination for Argentines and Brazilians.
You've now added Museo Planet 3D to your itinerary. Kids will appreciate attractions like PRESA DE ITAIPU and Shopping Paris. When in Ciudad Del Este, make a side trip to see Monumento Cientifico Moises Bertoni in Presidente Franco, approximately Presidente Franco away. Encarnacion offers a good selection of cultural and natural attractions.
You'll visit kid-friendly attractions like Costanera de la Ciudad de Encarnacion Paraguay and Playa Tacuary. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Encarnacion: La Santisima Trinidad De Parana (in Trinidad), Mision Jesuita de San Cosme y San Damian (in San Cosme y Damian) and Mision Jesuitica Guarani Jesus de Tavarangue (in Jesus de Tavarangue). There's still lots to do: delve into the distant past at Ruinas de Jesús, get outside with San Jose Beach, try out the rides at Parque Acuatico Y Ecologico El Dorado, and don't miss a visit to Plaza de Armas.

Paraguay's capital and economic center, Asuncion ranks among the youngest cities on the continent, with more than half of its residents under 30 years of age.
Kids will enjoy Palacio de López and The National Pantheon of Heroes and Oratory of the Virgin Our Lady Saint Mary of the Asuncion. When in Asuncion, make a side trip to see Lago Ypacarai in San Bernardino, approximately San Bernardino away. There's lots more to do: make a trip to Costanera de Asuncion, admire the masterpieces at Museo Etnografico Andres Barbero, get outside with Parque de la Salud, and shop like a local with Shopping del Sol.
