Jakarta, Indonesia to Osaka is an approximately 11-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train. The time zone difference when traveling from Jakarta to Osaka is 2 hours. Plan for little chillier temperatures traveling from Jakarta in September, with highs in Osaka at 32°C and lows at 24°C. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 28th (Sat) to allow enough time to take a train to Kyoto.

You've added Sake Ichi, Food Tours, Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, and other attractions to your itinerary. Kick off your visit on the 28th (Sat): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kinkaku-ji, take a stroll through Gion, and then join in the after-dark buzz at Bar Cordon Noir. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 29th (Sun): stroll through Arashiyama Bamboo Grove, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Fushimi Inari-taisha Shrine, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Kiyomizu-dera Temple, then learn something new at Ninja Dojo and Store, then savor the flavors at Food & Drink, and finally get a taste of local nightlife at Sake Ichi.

Kyoto is very close to Osaka. In September, plan for daily highs up to 33°C, and evening lows to 23°C. You will have some time to spend on the 30th (Mon) before leaving for Hakone-machi.

You can take a train from Kyoto to Hakone-machi in 4 hours. Other options are to drive; or do a combination of train and flight. When traveling from Kyoto in September, plan for little chillier days and about the same nights in Hakone-machi: temperatures range from 24°C by day to 22°C at night. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 1st (Tue) to allow time for travel to Tokyo.
