Start off your visit on the 22nd (Mon): step into the grandiose world of Nijo Castle, stroll through Kyoto Imperial Palace, trek along Philosopher's Walk, take in nature's colorful creations at Nanzen-ji Temple, then contemplate the long history of Yasaka Shrine, and finally see a show at Gion Corner. Keep things going the next day: make a trip to Bamboo Forest Street, take in the spiritual surroundings of Tenryuji Temple, take in the views from Togetsukyo, then admire nature's wide array of creatures at Monkey Park Iwatayama, then get interesting insight from Sagano Romantic Train, and finally take in the spiritual surroundings of Jojakkoji Temple.
