You might consider the city of Budapest, divided by the Danube River into two distinctive cities--Buda and Pest--to be essentially one large World Heritage Site.
On the 21st (Tue), steep yourself in history at Matthias Church, make a trip to Halaszbastya, explore the world behind art at Hungarian National Gallery (Magyar Nemzeti Galeria), then appreciate the history behind Hősök tere, and finally see the interesting displays at House of Terror Museum. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 22nd (Wed): get a sense of history and politics at Hungarian Parliament Building, take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Stephen's Basilica (Szent Istvan Bazilika), then steep yourself in history at Dohány Street Synagogue, and finally take in the views from Szechenyi Chain Bridge.

Bengaluru, India to Budapest is an approximately 15.5-hour flight. You can also do a combination of flight and train; or drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 4 hours traveling from Bengaluru to Budapest. Prepare for much colder weather when traveling from Bengaluru in January: high temperatures in Budapest hover around 3°C and lows are around -4°C. The cultural, economic, and political center of the country, Vienna has developed from its early Celtic and Roman roots into a medieval and Baroque city, with an old town that was designated a World Heritage Site in 2001.
On the 23rd (Thu), take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Stephen's Cathedral, see the interesting displays at Imperial Palace (Hofburg), and then admire the striking features of Schonbrunn Palace. On the 24th (Fri), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: admire the landmark architecture of Rathaus, then admire the masterpieces at Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien, and then admire the masterpieces at Belvedere Palace.
