The cultural, economic, and political center of the country, Vienna has developed from its early Celtic and Roman roots into a medieval and Baroque city, with an old town that was designated a World Heritage Site in 2001.
On the 27th (Wed), take in the spiritual surroundings of St. Mary's on the Bank (Maria Am Gestade), then don't miss a visit to Historic Center of Vienna, then take in the architecture and atmosphere at St. Stephen's Cathedral, and finally take in nature's colorful creations at Schonbrunn Palace. Keep things going the next day: see the interesting displays at Imperial Palace (Hofburg), see the interesting displays at Kunsthistorisches Museum Wien, then hunt for treasures at Vienna Naschmarkt, then admire nature's wide array of creatures at Schönbrunn Zoo, and finally look for gifts at Xocolat.

Cairo, Egypt to Vienna is an approximately 6-hour flight. You can also drive. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from Cairo to Vienna. Plan for cooler temperatures traveling from Cairo in February, with highs in Vienna at 5°C and lows at -1°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 28th (Thu) to allow time to take a train to Melk.

Melk, a small town of about 5,000, hugs the south side of the Danube.
Kick off your visit on the 1st (Fri): look for gifts at Wein & Wachau, learn about winemaking at Winzer Krems, see the interesting displays at Karikaturmuseum, then get great views at Melk Abbey, and finally explore the historical opulence of Schallaburg.

You can take a train from Vienna to Melk in an hour. Alternatively, you can drive. In February in Melk, expect temperatures between 5°C during the day and 1°C at night. On the 2nd (Sat), wrap the sightseeing up by early afternoon so you can drive to Graz.
