On the 3rd (Sun), take in the waterfront activity at Suo-Oshima, admire the natural beauty at Kikko Park, then step into the grandiose world of Iwakuni Castle, and finally take in the views from Kintai Bridge. Here are some ideas for day two: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Iwakuni Shirohebi Shrine, steep yourself in history at Old Mekata Family's House, make a trip to Statue of Sasaki Kojiro, then go for a walk through Kagawake Nagayamon, and finally contemplate the long history of Uno Chiyo's Birthplace.
