Lourdes, France

Lourdes is a small market town lying in the foothills of the Pyrenees. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Lourdes: Cave de Gan - Jurancon (in Gan) and Pau (Boulevard des Pyrenees & Château de Pau). There's much more to do: contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Sanctuaires Notre-Dame de Lourdes, make a trip to Basilique Saint-Pie X, meet the residents at Parc Animalier Des Pyrenees, and take in the architecture and atmosphere at Eglise Sainte-Bernadette.

If you are flying in from Puerto Rico, the closest major aiports are Tarbes-Lourdes-Pyrénées Airport, Biarritz-Anglet-Bayonne Airport and Toulouse-Blagnac Airport. Expect a daytime high around 15°C in November, and nighttime lows around 5°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 23rd (Tue) early enough to go by car to Pamplona.

Pamplona or Iruña is the historical capital city of Navarre, in Spain, and of the former Kingdom of Navarre.The city is famous worldwide for the running of the bulls during the San Fermín festival, which is held annually from July 6 to 14. Kick off your visit on the 23rd (Tue): pause for some photo ops at Monumento al Encierro, admire the striking features of Catedral de Pamplona, and then don't miss a visit to Palacio Real de Olite. On the next day, don't miss a visit to Calle del Laurel, do a tasting at Bodegas Franco Espanolas, then learn about all things military at Fortress and Walls of Pamplona, and finally don't miss a visit to Plaza del Castillo.

Burgos is a city in northern Spain and the historic capital of Castile. Kick off your visit on the 25th (Thu): take in the architecture and atmosphere at Catedral De Burgos, then stroll around Paseo del Espolon, and then contemplate the long history of Monasterio de las Huelgas.
