You can do a combination of ferry and car from Cozumel to Tulum in 2.5 hours. Another option is to do a combination of ferry and bus. In September, plan for daily highs up to 85°F, and evening lows to 72°F. Finish up your sightseeing early on the 28th (Mon) so you can go by car to Chichen Itza.
