Start off your visit on the 17th (Sun): get to know the fascinating history of Hieizan Enryaku-ji Temple. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the 18th (Mon): contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Jojakkoji Temple, take in the spiritual surroundings of Tenryuji Temple, take in the spiritual surroundings of Toji, then steep yourself in history at Tofuku-ji Temple, then contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Chion-in Temple, and finally admire the natural beauty at Nanzen-ji Temple.

Singapore, Singapore to Kyoto is an approximately 11-hour combination of flight and train. You can also fly; or do a combination of flight, bus, and train. Kick off your visit on the 21st (Thu): kick back and relax at Nagamahama Beach Coast, browse the eclectic array of goods at Atarasu Ichiba, delve into the distant past at Ninto zeiseki, then take in the spiritual surroundings of Miyako Shrine, and finally steep yourself in history at Nakasone Toyumya Tomb. Traveling by flight from Tokyo to Miyakojima takes 4.5 hours. While traveling from Tokyo, expect somewhat warmer days and much warmer nights in Miyakojima, ranging from highs of 30°C to lows of 24°C. Finish your sightseeing early on the 22nd (Fri) so you can travel to Ishigaki.
