Ashtarak
— 9 nights

Ashtarak, is a town in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia, located on the left bank of Kasagh River along the gorge, northwest of the capital Yerevan. Do some cultural sightseeing at Echmiadzin Monastery and Saint Gayane Church. Explore Ashtarak's surroundings by going to Vagharshapat (Shoghakat Church & Zvartnots Temple), The Monastery of Nekhuts (in Arzakan) and Ptghni Church (in Ptghni). There's lots more to do: admire the landmark architecture of Saint Hripsime Church, contemplate the long history of Ashtarak Bridge, take an in-depth tour of The Museum of Pertch Proshian, and brush up on your military savvy at National Museum of Armenian Ethnography and History of the Liberation Struggle.
