Having earned UNESCO World Heritage status for its abundance of Italian modernist architecture, Asmara boasts a rich history and architectural gems.
Start off your visit on the 29th (Fri): enjoy some diversion at Cinema Impero, don't miss a visit to Medebar Market, take in the spiritual surroundings of Nda Mariam Othodox Church, then don't miss a visit to Liberation Avenue (also called Harnet Ave), then admire the landmark architecture of Cattedrale di Asmara, and finally admire the striking features of Fiat Tagliero.
