We had to pay 500 THB to enter the site, which is relatively expensive when compared to other entry ticket in Thailand. It seems even more expensive as the temple is not finished and the visit will no...  more »

Once the dress regulations. Still under construction at the entrance helmet passed. You are very nice. Erawan shrine with the same conductor, seems to be started and taught from Thailand. 500 baht admission to the wooded elephant in the options. Get off the stairs at first, but after that 保保 flat road.

A beautiful spiritual temple and for me worth every penny of the entry fee. Yes ongoing restorations which when you visit you will understand the huge task of ongoing renovation to a building of this size and I would imagine this is a continuous process. A great way to spend the afternoon.

The sanctuary of truth is a magnificent place with a temple made entirely out of wood. The people are very friendly and it is of course a highly recommended visit. However the animal abuse caught our eye, small horses pull heavy carriages in the heat. Goats are attached to wooden boxes pulling on the cords on their necks to be fed grass by tourists. I did not see any water nearby them. Inside those wooden boxes are rabbits whom you can also feed. However the absolute worst part is the elephant ride, three elephants carry metal constructions with people sitting on top of them. Their nails broken by the weight, their heads and ears damaged by the ever so famous bull hook. The bull hooks are shamelessly resting on their heads as the elephants drag their feet around this huge temple. The founders of the sanctuary of truth both stood for entirely different values and priorities, the buildings they built were founded on peace. They are rolling over in their graves.

Be lost in heaven! Must visit to this wonderful place. All made of wooden furniture and no nails. It is one of the oldest structure and not finished yet. It is inspired by Buddhism and Hindu Gods. you will love to take a snap in front of the gate of Sanctuary of Truth.

As on June’17 some sort of renovation work is going on in Sanctuary of Truth. The design and architecture is magnificent. You will be amazed to see the huge wooden art work here. Outside of Sanctuary of Truth they have option to ride on the elephant. Regarding drinks I recommend you to have coconut water here. There coconut here is very sweet and refreshing.
