Started in 1981 and still under construction, the wooden place of worship features ornate images, reliefs, and statues. With an intensive attention to detail and a sensitive balancing of contemporary aesthetics and traditional architecture, there's plenty to appreciate about this work in progress--so don't let its completion date of 2050 put you off. • From several sources that I can building was built it was almost 15 years old and has not yet completed. For 15 year I really amazed and for word not finished I can witness it for yourself. Wood carving that is completely natural still worked on the sculptor when I visit this place. And most in awe not only lekaki which works to sculpt but I also saw some women or mothers participate, Wow ... really amazing woman instead? Sculptural details in every wood carvings not only can we see but can feel when we touch it by hand also, very detailed. Its beauty by looking from the entrance down the stairs before Sahadeva one of stunning views, of course, is a very unique and classy. Admission to here of 500 bhat or 225ribu according the exchange rate when I visited. The clothes here surely must be courteous, not allowed to use with skirt or pants above the knee, the dress should also be fair. Appreciate their rules because certainly we also want in value instead? Welcome visit

  • Undoubtedly, the sanctuary of truth is a Pearl of Pattaya, and maybe all over Thailand. The huge sanctuary, while visually light, even-air. Its harmonious lines and abundance of detail is amazing. It was stunningly beautiful, and outside and inside. It's really hard to describe-it is better to see once. We were themselves without tours. On the one hand, lacked information, it was difficult to understand the composition of Thai epic. But on the other hand, was able to without getting distracted, contemplate the beauty of indefinitely. Which is better-you choose. For fans to take pictures there are some suitable angles depend on the position of the Sun. Useful wide-angle lens. Seen here on the site of heated discussions about whether the temple was built without a single nail or nails still there? I do not know me, this problem is not touched. Just don't understand how a few nails can people spoil the impression of this fascinating place. Find the sanctuary of truth absolutely must-see!

  • Shrine/ Castel and amusement complex. Worth a visit if your done with the beach area. I walked from near the pedestrian street and had no issues getting there other than watching the road for traffic. There were options to give up and take a taxi at 100 spots along the way. Has small zoo, petting area, Elephant, walk down to the shrine with a small creek and waterfall thing, restaurant, snacks cold drinks. Shrine itself had a wonderful view on par in terms of detail with a European Cathedral. Woodwork was amazing with the flying Statues and Buddhist iconography. 500 Baht entrance, have coverings for legs and shoulders. I wore shorts and no one cared.
  • This beautiful all-wooden structure is made of detailed carvings Hindu Gods, mythical creatures and Buddhist motifs. Located on the coast this place has got a very scenic view overlooking the sea. It looks like work in progress. Reconstruction/repair was going on when I visited in Jan 2018. But was allowed to enter the the premise. You can also visit the workshop and see live wood carving. There is also a cafe/restaurant in the woods.
  • Be lost in heaven! Must visit to this wonderful place. All made of wooden furniture and no nails. It is one of the oldest structure and not finished yet. It is inspired by Buddhism and Hindu Gods. you will love to take a snap in front of the gate of Sanctuary of Truth.
  • You need at least one hour or more to see the whole place. It's a great place right next to the ocean. The whole place is made up of wood with beautiful engravings. There's an entry ticket of 500 baht.
  • It's a great place with great views. But I was kinda disappointed that's it's not as old as I expected. When you get inside grab a leaflet and you'll understand. Also they have elephant riding which is NOT OKAY, as elephants are not meant for riding and they are tortured.
