  • This place is clean and the people are friendly. Food options were somewhat limited. Seemed like only about 2/3 of the place was even open. There were hardly any visitors on the day we went, which...  more »
  • At first, I thought the merging of a Cultural Village, and a theme park seemed to be a bit tacky... But these guys pull it off really well. The gondola ride up the hill is really nice (short, but...  more »

  • If you go in spring, there are lots of cherry/plum blossoms. This adds to the beauty of the surrounding. There is an area with typical amusement rides and attractions such as the log ride and roller coasters. There was quite a few water based rides so I would suggest you bring your own raincoat if you don't want to end up drenched. I suggest you make your way to the cable cars after, the cable car has two sections, one from the rides to the second entrance/exit and from that to sun moon lake. You should go all the way and back halfway and walk to the amusement park area by foot because there are so many cool aboriginal huts and performances to check out in that middle section and it's less tiring walking downhill
  • It's a large place that you can enjoy it in whole day. When you buy the ticket, you can also take the sun moon lake ropeway for free. When the season come, the cherry blossoms was full in this area. It's so beautiful. It have many rides for every people to have fun. The junior and senior high school graduation travel often come to this place. And when that time come, there are full of people. The ticket price is a little expensive. So come here when it's open and stay for a whole day and enjoy all the place, went to sun moon lake and have a view. It's a good way to travel this place.
