Fondation Pierre Gianadda
Explore the sculpture garden and the underground automobile exhibition at Fondation Pierre Gianadda. Opened in 1978 by Leonard Gianadda to honor his younger brother Pierre, who was killed in a plane crash in 1976, the museum has permanent exhibits on Chagall, plus Gallo Roman pottery and art. In addition, it regularly features temporary exhibits from museums and private collections around the world. Plenty of parking is available near the facilities, and the foundation boasts a tea garden serving refreshments. Make your Martigny itinerary with Inspirock to find out what to see and where to go.

The foundation is fantastic with an extensive collection. We visited during the Swiss masters expo. The sculpture garden was truly wonderful with works by Henry Moore, Rodin and many others. more »

A top museum in this part of the world. Top special exhibitions. And a permanent automotive exhibition with unique old cars. more »

Good museum with an interesting history. Different expositions, nice garden. Really friendly people. Recommended to visit! The only strange point was that some expositions are not translated to other languages except French.

Terrible. For an Art foundation with this reputation, they could at least invest in renovating the space. The curating for Rodin & Giacometti is absolutely awful. How someone could ruin two of the most fantastic sculptors works is beyond me. The space is stuck in the 70's, the staff was odious, and the entrance fee is very expensive. On top of that, you only get a 2.- reduction for being a senior... On that same evening, a concert was going to take place, so all the chairs for it were left all around the exhibition... How can you do that? It is far from everything, show at least a bit of appreciation for people who travel for hours to come and see a show. I know I will not be going back, absolutely wasn't worth it.
