  • By chance the entrance to the Suriname River discovered, car parked and thought it was a little walk, by noon. The staff were very helpful, the path is easy to pass, but not a breeze and 3.2 km long. Make sure you have enough drinking with you and anti-mosquito repellent. You can see several beautiful animals, from large iguanas to monkeys with their young on their backs. While walking she followed through the crowns of the trees, what can they jump, great. In the Info centre arrived, first drink bought. There is a model of the plantation and through photo walls there is an explanation of the history of the plantation. Persecution again the walk along the path and a total of 6.4 km. Brisk walk. To rest to the plantation ridden and well equipped by the swimming pool behind the director's house/Hotel. What a great place!

  • During our holiday we made a four-day bicycle tour from Paramaribo to Commewijne. The last day we cycled through the plantation Peperpot. Very worthwhile and we were lucky enough to spot a sloth. Visitors ' centre is also worth a visit.
