Baie Rouge, Saint-Martin

4.3
#3 of 8 in Beaches in Saint-Martin
Relax and unwind on the quiet sandy beach at Baie Rouge. Getting its name from the slight pinkish hue of the sand, the bay boasts calm waters ideal for swimming and snorkeling. Rent a deck chair and umbrella at the entrance on the beach's busier eastern end. There, you'll also find a welcoming bar and restaurant for your seafood- and cocktail-related needs. Head to the western side for a calmer, more intimate feel, since fewer visitors walk that far along the rosy sands. • Nice little parking lot. When you enter beach walk a bit to the left and people bare all and get well rounded tan. Bring your own picnic nothing there  more »
  • Nice beach. Clothing optional. Small parking lot on site. No shade. No services. A very nice white/reddish sandy beach  more »

  • Beautiful beach. nothing more that sand and sea. No bar, no restaurants. Huge bay. Hard to find your path from the Route Nationale. You have to guess the entrance amid an uninterrupted stretch of private villas , millionaire size. A small parking area. Dirty parking area: bottles, cigarettes, you name it
  • I love this beach. I went out of my way to visit it but it was worth it. For any American parents not accustomed to nude beaches I will warn you that some of this beach accepts nudity; which may not be child friendly. But the beach is absolutely beautiful and Gus's has great food.
