We have escaped from rooms in Vegas, Nashville, and Israel, and this room is in the top five! What may seem a bit underwhelming at first, turns out to be like this by design, as the room opens up to an expansive series of surprises. The non-linear puzzles allow everyone to work simultaneously, playing to their strengths in a variety of puzzle types, mixing mechanical contraptions with cryptography, and without an over-reliance on traditional locks. Our guide was very nice, his English was good, and he was excellent at guiding us - we asked for a clue about halfway through, and he told us that we were right on track and that he would give us a clue if we were still stuck in a couple minutes: we ended up figuring a couple things out, and didn’t need a clue until closer to the end. There were quite a few steps that we have never seen before, and good use of those we have. Highly recommended, and well worth the few minutes walk from the center of town.
