The building and palace was devised by the artist and engineer Miquel Utrillo between 1910 and 1918, the Palace of Maricel became, from its very inauguration, a classic of the Novecentista style. Currently, the complex keeps intact its great artistic and architectural value and has become one of the most emblematic buildings of Sitges.

Anything that can sum up the artistic periods and, above all, the economic contexts of the time (an American tycoon and his ideals... - to discuss and reflect).
Many interesting works of art are displayed here including Picasso and Rodin amongst others. There are some paintings of old Sitges. There is a beautiful font in a blue tiled basin. There's stain glass windows, tiled pictures, a pair of ornate writing desks, period furniture, sculptures with the sea as a backdrop and a nice little gift shop. There are toilets. Worth a visit if you enjoy art and the past.
Such a cool place - a standout in an already special town
