  • Recently successfully restored to much critical acclaim the ‘Door of Glory’ is the triple-columned entrance to the Cathedral through which pilgrims traditionally arrived. Sculpted in the 12th century by Master Mateo, it is considered to be one of the finest treasures of the Cathedral. The Portico, the high-ceilinged porch area that is attached to the main entrance, has been restored and you can examine again the design and intricate stone carvings.
  • It was incredibly beautiful. The early roman style is well preserved. I would wait 6 hours again in the burning sun. It is totally worth it. 6 out of 5
