I went to fieldworkriotinto with the intention of making a guided tour of Riotinto Mines in private and with a number of peculiarities that needed someone with a deep knowledge of the place and good predisposition. It Was Juanma, manager, who took care of my request, and I can say that not only was it requested but it filled and surpassed, in an extraordinary way, all my expectations. He Had a lot of patience, taking into account the numerous previous virtual correspondence that he exchanges with him. I will Be clear: I belong to the sector, and I know how persistent we can become as customers, as if we were the only request that a company has to attend. Juanma was not only patient with me, but insisted that I not worry about all my doubts, because his maxim was that the visit out of our total pleasure. For more Inri, he advised me on questions such as accommodation, restaurants or transfers when, let's be clear, he didn't have to, and he didn't win anything with it. As It was in private, he picked us up in his car and was providing us with a Riotinto Mine visit as complete as possible: the birth of Rio, visit of mines and mining operations, the mining town, the British legacy, accompanied us to the train, to the Restaurant... We were always accompanied by an expert who controlled time to perfection and gave us a vision with which it provided not only scientific and historical value, but also the whole socio-cultural context: He explained how the people transformed the exploitation Mining, the relations that were established between the British society and the original inhabitants, of how nowadays it is remembered that epoch,... In short, he knew to give us a vision of Mines of rigorous Riotinto, polyhedral, full of details and, still, very pleasant. I Have the habit of making guided tours when I travel; I think it is necessary that, even after you explore the place on your own, have a first contact taken by the hand of an expert. I Do Not exaggerate when I say that it was the best visit I have enjoyed so far: we live a great experience with the hand of a person who continually transmitted love for his locality and his work. Thank you so much for everything.
Magnificent professionals. Unique environment. We visited Minas de Ríotinto Saturday, April 7, 2018. 55 people who had read the heart from the land of Juan Cobos Wilkins. Attracted by the plot of the novel, we contemplate the scenario in which the action takes place on-site. Incredible landscapes ranging from the Green restallante of the sierra, dark purple of the rio Tinto and ochre mine. And all the hand of Juanma, the guide that discovered us the secrets of the heart of the planet Earth. Juanma, erudite without falling into the pedantry. Insurance in response to so many issues raised by travellers. In short, an interesting, fun, dynamic and rewarding visit to the Onubense mining region. Congratulations FieldWorks Riotinto.
