  • Great escape from the city. Easy to get to by bus and a short (slight up hill for most of it) walk to reach. The grounds are well maintained and interesting to walk about. Most of the buildings were closed on our visit but we had a lovely break in the cafe. If you're a family or plan on spending quite some time there I'd recommend bringing a picnic as there are plenty of breakout areas. Some of the routes are deemed "hard" but it is all very walkable for most people. Particularly enjoyed the walk of 80 tress from continents and countries around the world. If you're looking for a break from the sun and tourists of the city then this is a great spot to spend time in.
  • My husband and I come to Spain regularly and we visit the botanical gardens every time when in Costa del sol. They are so picturesque and very calming to walk round. We particularly enjoy seeing the wildlife and love the sound of the frogs. We also eat at the small cafe where the staff are very friendly and helpful. No doubt we will be back next year.
