  • Impressive stretch of a true Roman road in a spectacular state of conservation. Despite not being one of the Roman "arteries" on the peninsula, it is a wide path, in a truly attractive natural environment, in which visits of mountain goats is not uncommon. The ascent to the port of the peak by the Roman road is a hard route but absolutely recommended.
