Jeju Stone Park, Jeju

4.1
#11 of 40 in Parks in Jeju
Educational Jeju Stone Park displays collections of interesting rock formations molded by nature itself. The park offers three courses to explore, each with its own charm. Take the first route to see the mother’s room exhibiting a rock formation whose shadows form a silhouette of a mother holding a child. The second course showcases typical thatched house-type structures, while the third route offers reproductions of traditional villages. Highlights include the displays of dead tree roots with interesting formations--some actually resemble animals. You can get an audio guide in English from the ticket office. You can plan Jeju trip in no time by asking Inspirock to help create your itinerary.

  • This is the place where i chose because the reviews are good. It's a great place to stay. The rain was a little bit on this day, and most of all, the fog was very hard to see, but I still felt like I had been there. The hotel is very clean and has a lot to offer. It's unique. I would definitely stay here again.

  • The most unique and beautiful museum I’ve ever been to. It’s not just about displays, but it’s all about immersion. Toilets are clean with tissue paper and soap. Please visit my site (thoughtsofsheryl.blog) for more travel tips and reviews.
  • I competed during the III Jeju Delphic Games as representative of the Philippine Delphic Council and my entry in the Filmmaking category is about Jeju's stones that are actually volcanic in nature. I did not emerge as winner in that 2009 competition but I treasure every moment that I spent in the island from drinking Soju beer, eating seafood soup and the competition itself where our local wood carver Ernie Dul-ang emerged as Champion in the sculpture competition. Yes, the stones can speak and it tells something about the nature of the island.
