  • We visited the park one morning on a weekday so there wasn't so much people there. A wonderfully beautiful park that we can really recommend. Nice paths to walk on and large grassareas. A nice and restful place with beautiful plants to watch and a beautiful waterfall. Interesting also to read about Walter Sisulu as the park got its name after.

  • Very nice botanical garden. There is a lot of space to picnic. You can hire a cart and have someone take your picnic basket and blankets to a spot you want. Safe parking inside with security, you get a ticket upon entrance and have yo give it in again when you leave. There is a nice restaurant inside the Botanical Gardens. There is a nice waterfall and a pathway to walk up to where the waterfall starts. I will definitely visit the park again.
  • Lovely day out for the family or with a group of friends. You can take your own picnic and there are quite a few shady spots although it's still a good idea to get there relatively early to ensure you secure a shady spot. If you don't want to lug all your picnic stuff, you can hire a guy with a cart to take it for you. There is also a restaurant if you don't feel like a picnic. There is a lovely hike up to the waterfall and you only need an average level of fitness.
