  • Very well-designed exhibition. Through the mounted walking route you were taken IND e History of the country and especially in the later period (from 1948) The apartheid and the rebellions nav this bizarre phenomenon. Lots of information. Go there with an empty head because otherwise your head is over.

  • Great museum with lots of information. A must see for every SA visitor. Safe parking in front of entrance with guarded gate. 4 of 5 stars because the set up of the galleries and the jump in times made it difficult for us to get the historical timeline and the relation of events.
  • Exceptionally well done museum, capturing the sad history of apartheid in South Africa. Very well laid out and designed to help ensure you have the chance to see all parts of the museum. With the entrance guide you’ll receive clear directions for a 1 hour, 2 hour, or 3+ hour experience in the museum. It can get rather busy later in the day, but is open Sundays (atypical for many places in Johannesburg) and was quite empty at 9:15am shortly after its opening.
