Eagles Nest Wine, Constantia

#9 of 33 in Wineries in Cape Town
Nestled in a secluded valley, Eagles Nest Wine offers a selection of awarded reds and whites. Back in 1836, the estate started out as a resting stop for travelers crossing the Constantia Neck mountain pass. The vineyards were only planted in 2000, after a ranging fire left only a few of the estate's historic buildings intact. • Great way to spend a Sunday afternoon with friends or even with a young family. Very friendly children's atmosphere with excellent wine tasting and cheese platters for the adults. Worth the visit.
  • Eagles Nest is a premium boutique winery. Brilliant staff with an excellent attitude during wine tastings will inform you on every detail on every wine. EN Merlot and Shiraz win awards on a yearly basis. Definitely stop by for a tasting and a platter.
