  • As already described by some, the official trail is a rather easy hike. The path to the summit cross must then be covered at your own risk and is definitely not suitable for inexperienced hikers/climbers. You need a good condition, enough to drink and absolutely a sturdy footwear. After passing the warning sign it goes quite steeply uphill, mostly over roots and stones. As already described, one finally comes to a kind of "level". There you have to turn right and follow the red bags that hang in the trees. From there it goes up again, until then only rocks can be seen. To get up to the summit cross we have kept on the rocks rather left. Since we travel relatively often in the mountains at home and also have via ferrata experience, we found the "climbing" over the rocks to the summit cross not very difficult. However, you should always be careful where you go. But the effort is definitely worth it!!! When the weather plays along you have a gigantic view! Conclusion: Must-Do for experienced hikers/mountain climbers

  • The name of this famous trail comes from the trio of imposing granite peaks on Victoria and starts on the Sans Souci Highway, with side entrance on the plate that indicates the beginning of the trail and the ideal is to follow in the street of the humble and small village of houses with the car and park in the area s Uperior, starting the trekking. The ascent begins timid in the middle of the closed forest until the moment when the vegetation becomes creeping, starting the relatively steep ascent of 300 meters of altitude up to the viewpoint with wide view to the North Peninsula, as well as to the center of Victoria, Marina of Seychelles , Oil zone and the Seychelles International Airport, further to the right, while mentioning that it is also possible to see the Ste Anne Marine Park and other eastern islands of the archipelago, including Praslin and La Digue on clear days. Attention at the end of the ascent, for lacking 200 meters to reach the lookout, there are several specimens of the famous carnivorous plants of Seychelles, also called the Vase plant (Nepenthes pervillei)! Once at the gazebo, you will have traveled about 800 meters from the parking lot, in just 40 minutes of quiet walking. The view of the viewpoint is very beautiful and represents the end of the regulated path, however, is not the end of the famous trail Les Trois Frères. After the board of the Natural Park, stating that there is the end of the regulated path and those wishing to follow the mountain above will do so at their own risk is where the true journey begins to the mountain ridge that bears the name of three brothers (translated from French) at Is the Iron Cross, whose view is from the lookout located at the base of the mountain. I risked my ascent until I reached the Iron Cross and I did not repent! However, the ascent that starts after the indicative plate of the end of the regulated path is totally steep. There are hundreds of improvised steps on stones or on Earth, with the need to hold on branches and roots of trees around to reach the top of the mountain. It is a long path, however, possible to be executed even alone, remembering that care is triated, because few people risk continuing the trail in this region, and should carefully observe each step given, since a fall or a lesion can mean the End of the tour, in addition to a potential difficulty in the exit of the trail of...
