  • Not a lot of people know about this beach. It’s a wild and unspoilt beach at the end of a 30 minute hike through a lush forest. The beach itself itself isn’t the best looking beach. There were granite...  more »
  • It was the second day on the Seychelles island of Mahe and 05:30 in the morning. The sunrise was wonderful, the cheerful chirping of the birds provided the right holiday atmosphere. The view from our bungalow went far over the deeper sea, on which the boats of the fishermen were already on their way to their fishing grounds. After a short breakfast, the backpacks were packed with concentration and thought, as on all our walks around the world. Today, the circumnavigation of the wildly romantic and lonely southern tip with Cape Malheureux was on the agenda. According to the hiking guide for trained people, a four to five hour tour. The trail should not be so easy to find, but at least recognizable. It went along the east coast with start at the Anse Marie Louise, where we parked our rental car. After a few hundred meters, dense coastal forest engulfed us and we enjoyed the silence in the morning. We immediately found our way to the Anse Capucins, it went well and the joy of discovery had grabbed us. The path was narrow, but easy to see. After a good hour we stood on a beautiful and completely lonely beach... The Anse Capucins. With no offshore reef, the waves hit the beach in high arcs and crabs as big as lobsters ran across the sand. Everything went so wonderfully and easily, there was time for a second breakfast and a short dip in the waves. The ers...
